Without this Center, some families would not be served. Our 2007-08 plan is to continue to provide services and opportunities for personal growth for those who currently require our services. In addition, we must touch the 10,000’s of others that we believe would benefit from our services.

Volunteer Opportunities at The Center for Community Services Provide activities for our Annual Family Fun Day. (Contact: Tausha Hicks at 688-2215) Organize Summer Day Camps for children at Center.  (Contact: Tausha Hicks at 688-2215) Provide school supplies for families. (Contact: Tausha Hicks at 688-2215) Donate winter coats, hats and mittens for children. (Contact: Tausha Hicks at 688-2215) Sponsor a family in need at Christmas time through our Christmas Assistance Program. (Contact: Tausha Hicks at 688-2215) Teach adults to read or teach English as a Second Language. (Contact: Harriet Withers at 688-2212) Prepare food boxes, help with data entry,  or interview clients in need of Emergency Relief. (Contact: Julia Baynes at 688-2242) Make baby blankets or other items to be given to new parents. (Contact: Robin Nicholson at 355-5087) Organize a block party in your neighborhood to help build friendships and support. (Contact: Peg Manikowski at 688-2214) Organize a group to help the Center prepare for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. (Contact: Lori Bailey at 688-2247) Use your Spanish speaking skills to assist with Cafe Cultura programs and events. (Contact: Cafe Cultura at 688-2224)
